IPAK organises get together

IMPHAL, October 7: The Indigenous People Association of Kangleipak organised a get together ceremony at the Manipur Press Club today.

In his keynote address, IPAK general secretary Premkumar Pebam said that IPAK was formed on August 8 in Keishampat with the main objective of the organisation being `Saving the Indigenous People`™ to protect and preserve the old tradition of the State.

He further said that the get together programme was mainly organised so that the organisation and other organisations in the State will get to know and support one another in the future.

He also appealed the people of the State and various civic organisations of the State to support IPAK so that they can extend help in preserving the indigenous values of the State.

The function was attended by IPAK chairman Sapamcha Jadumani; legal advisors of the civic body, Th Manihar and Gaurahari Mutum; and representatives from various other organisations.
