DIPR reporting course

IMPHAL, Nov 24: The Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) has said that applications in plain paper are invited from candidates who are desirous of undergoing training in 15-Days Basic Course in News Reporting under the State Institute of Journalism of this Directorate.

According to a release of the DIPR, the course will be conducted from the second week of January, 2015 at Manipur Press Club, Majorkhul.

The eligible qualification for the course is Graduate for fresh candidates or 10+2 for working journalists. The selection will be made on basis of `first come first serve`™ with a total of 50 seats only.

Course material will also be provided to the course participants. The course fee is Rs. 300/- only and to be deposited by cash at DIPR cash counter, it said.

Interested candidates may submit their applications along with attested copies of their education certificates/documents with two passport size photographs to the Director of DIPR on or before December 20, it said.
