Imphal-Moreh highway indefinite bandh from November 28

CHANDEL, Nov 25: The Tengnoupal Village Authority has warned to impose an indefinite bandh along the Imphal- Moreh Section of National Highway 102 from mid night of November 28 against the triggering of an IED at Sita Lamkhai on morning of November 17.

Speaking to media persons, Tengnoupal Village Authority secretary Lunminthang Haokip said that the villagers of Tengnoupal will impose an indifinite bandh along the Imphal – Moreh section of the national highway from midnight of November 28 as no organisation has claimed responsibility for planting and triggering of the IED at Sita Lamkhai Assam Rifles Check point near Tengnoupal village.

He further appealed to all like-minded civil organisations to extend co-operation and said media, medical, religious and other emergency services would be exempted from the purview of the bandh.
