IMPHAL, November 24: The Lions Club of Imphal Leimarol an International Associations of Lions Clubs, District 322D is organising Miss Personality and Mr Personality 2014.
Speaking to IFP, Memyo Ningombi coordinator of the event said that the Miss and Mr Personality contest is a unique fund raising project of the club, and at the same time aims to assist the youth of the State to develop strong personalities.
A good personality is the key to success, she said before adding that the contest will have several personality enhancement sessions before the final.
Memyo said today, the youths are showing great potentials in terms of arts and culture and in other fields including designing, and sports.
They have the energy and fire to conquer the world, she said.
Meanwhile, the Lions Club, Imphal Leimarol has also appealed to the people to support and co-operate with the club to make the venture a success.
Memyo said any individual, clubs or organisation can extend assistance either in cash or in kind or in any other way.
Meanwhile, 17 females and 18 males participated in a screening session conducted today for the contest at the Kids Foundation, Airport Road.
