State firm develops Mobile apps to assist education and hospitality sectors

IMPHAL, November 2: State-based firm De Royal Ads & Marketing today launched two cloud-based software applications ‘activeschools’ and ‘activecafe’ in partnership with Amraanta Technology.

The launched function held at the Classic Hotel was attended by Chandel DC Ningthoujam Geoffery and Manipur Working Journalist Union (AMWJU), president Wangkhemcha Shyamjai.

The two applications were designed to assist smooth functioning in the education and hospitality sectors.

Speaking at the inaugural function, Geoffery said the ‘activeschools’ software is a cloud-based school management solution which can be used both offline and online and can help in bringing an evolution in education.

This application can help to bridge the gap between school-parents, student-teacher and keep track of the student’s progress through instant notification and easily accessible records, he said.

Elaborating further on the app, he said with this embedded mobile application, schools would be able to send reports and information to parents and guardians by using mobile service. Parents and guardians would be able to follow up on the student`s progress and get first hand information from their respective schools through ActiveSchools.

Through this software the attendance of a student can take real time attendance, the parents and students get to see the attendance record on real time basic, send personalised attendance record via SMS or email which is easily access and maintain record.

Geoffery further highlighted about active cafe that its cloud based application for maintaining a restaurant, and can be used to increase the efficiency of investment.

President of All Manipur Working Journalist Union (AMWJU), Wangkhemcha Shyamjai said there are numerous schools that are far behind in the development race and such schools cane benefit a lot from this application.

He lauded the team for establishing and appealed to work hard for the betterment of future generation.
