IMPHAL, Nov 27: The Thadou Students`™ Association, Chandel has extended support to the indefinite bandh called by the Tengnoupal Village Authority along the Imphal-Moreh section of the all-important highway from midnight of November 27.
A statement of the student body issued by the secretary information and publicity of the TSA, Chandel, said the student body will fully support the bandh called against the planting and triggering of an IED at Sita Lamkhai near Tengnoupal on November 17.
While demanding the responsible organization or group to clarify themselves at the earliest, the statement also strongly condemned the responsible group for carrying out such activities near the village.
The students`™ body also further appealed all the concern organization not to carry out such activities at the vicinity of a village in the near future.
