IMPHAL, November 29: Extending its warm welcome to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the United Kuki Liberation Front (UKLF), rest its hope on the BJP Government and the PM in finding a solution to the decades old Kuki `political`™ problem.

A statement issued by the outfit information and publicity secretary, JM Thadou, lamented that despite having signed peace pact with the Congress on August 22, 2008, all glimpse of hopes and the promises made to the outfit have yielded nothing so far.

It stated that UKLF being part of the Kuki revolutionary groups who have signed Suspension of Operation (SoO) agreement with the Government has high hope on BJP Government at the centre in general and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in particular to initiate political dialogue with the Kuki UGs for bringing a lasting solution to the pending `political`™ problems of the Kukis.

It also appealed all stake holders to refrain from opposing the visit of the Prime Minister.
