IMPHAL, January 18: In a press release, the Maoist Communist Party, Manipur has stated that the Red Guards- Los Angeles, a branch of New Communist Party- Liaison Committee, is organising an International event called `A Night of Solidarity with Manipur in support of the Revolutionary movement of Manipur`™ on January 25 at 6 pm at La Concha in East Los Angeles on the eve of the International Protest Day against Indian Expansionism when India celebrates its Republic Day.
In the function, videos about the situation in Manipur will be shown and a discussion on the National Liberation Struggle of Manipur against India will also be held. The function organised by the Red Guards- Los Angeles would remain as a landmark moment in the history of Revolutionary movements of Manipur. The historical action program will be the first ever international event and international protest in the history of Manipur National Liberation Struggle, it said.
On behalf of the people of Manipur, the Maoist Communist Party, Manipur send its revolutionary greetings and heartfelt YAWOLNA YAIFARE (Red Salute) to the New Communist Party- Liaison Committee who is `taking responsibility of Proletarian Internationalism in support of the Revolutionary Movement of Maoist Communist Party Manipur and National Liberation Struggle of Manipur`, the press release said.
Political advancement made by the International department of the Maoist Communist Party Manipur has achieved such international action programs. `Workers of the world unite`™, the slogan of Karl Marx has reached the soil of Manipur and the universal proletarian Ideology of Maoism is mushrooming in the minds of the new generation of Manipuris. Maoist Communist Party, Manipur representing the new generation of Manipur, will fight the people`™s war with the true Internationalist sprit. The development of the Maoist movement in terms of expansion, advancement and greater extension of strength around the globe engender courage and provides moral support to each and every Maoist of Manipur, it said.
Our party, which further carries on the legacy of Lamyanba Hijam Irabot led Communist Movement, has developed the New Democratic revolution as an integral part of the world socialist revolution. We are prepared in every quarter for a New Democratic Revolution and have made a lot of progress. Our task is to complete the revolution led by Lamyanba Hijam Irabot by adopting the universal proletarian ideology of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism as the guiding principal of the party.
The International event to be organised by The New Communist Party-Liaison Committee will play a great role in giving a new message to the people of Manipur.
