IMPHAL, Jan 21: Manipuri cultural dance presentation amazes a huge crowd at Magh Mela 2015 in Allahabad.
A 16 member team of Manipuri Jagoi Marup has returned home after a successful presentation of Manipuri cultural programme at Allahabad, said Manipuri Jagoi Marup secretary RK Sanahanbi Devi in a press release.
The Jagoi Marup team was invited by the North Central Zone Cultural Centre (NCZCC) Allahabad to take part in the cultural festival entitled Chalo Man Ganga Yamuna Teer held at Allahabad from January 13 to 24 as part of the Magh Mela 2015 being organised by NCZCC, she said.
The Manipuri Jagoi Marup team presented the famous Basanta Rass, Pung Chollom, Lai Harouba and Stick dance items from January 13 to 15, she added.
