IMPHAL, Jan 25: A jawan of the 5th IRB personnel on duty at the Sajiwa Central Jail was killed after falling from his sentry post last night around 8.15 pm.
The victim has been identified as one Jangnai Gangmei, 31, son of Poubonlung of Gaidimjang Village part-II Tamenglong district.
He was rushed to JNIMS however succumbed to his injury late last night.
His lifeless body has been handed over to family after having conducted a post mortem.
