State BJP president Chaoba meets Union Home minister

IMPAL, January 18: A delegates of the Manipur State BJP led by its State President Th Chaoba Singh, has today apprised important issues concerning the state to the Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh.

A source from the state BJP said that the delegate met the Home Minister at his residence at 38 Ashoka Road around 11.15 am.

In the meeting that lasted four about 30 minutes reportedly, the delegates highlighted many important issues of Manipur. In his response the Union Home Minister taking serious note of the issued raised assured to look into the matter on priority basis, said the same sources.

He further informed the state delegates that the BJP led central government will give top priority towards North Eastern region for Development while underscoring Manipur as one of the most important State strategically.

Assuring to extend all possible assistance for Manipur, Union Home Minister assured that he will visit Manipur after the Delhi Election, it said.

M. Asnikumar Singh State General Secretary, Yanglet Haokip National Councillor, are among the delegate.

The delegates left Imphal for the national capital on January 16.
