IMPHAL, Feb 4: The 16 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector AR has apprehended 2 individuals along with illegal liquor at Litan on February 3.
According to a release of the PRO, the apprehended persons were identified as Asang Tangkhul, 48, son of (l) Maikang of Serui, Ukhrul and Apam Tangkhul, 30, son of Nenghoul of Serui village, Ukhrul. 650 litre of local made liquor worth Rs. 97,500/- was recovered from their possession. The apprehendees along with the recovered items have been handed over to the Litan Police Station, it said.
