IMPHAL, February 17: Yurembam Bung Singh, 40, son of late Y Khomei Singh of Uripok Achom Leikai, a rickshaw puller who left his house on Tuesday and remained traceless was found dead today.
His lifeless body was today found floating at the Nambul river near the Sagolband Bijoy Govinda temple. His skull was reportedly fractured ostensibly from a hit with a blunt object, police said.
Following his disappearance a missing report was filed at the concerned police station.
The lifeless body of the deceased has been handed over to family after post mortem examination at the RIMS.
The post mortem was reportedly conducted in the presence of executive Magistrate with full video coverage.
