IMPHAL, Feb 24: A team of Imphal West District Police Commando conducted frisking and checking here at Lokloubung crossing and arrested four active members of KYKL, a Police release said.
The arrested persons have been identified as Loitongbam Dinesh alias Bedanta alias Tompok Meitei, 38, son of L Hemchandra Singh of Sagolband Moirang Hanuba Leirak; Ningthoujam Robin alias Parijat Singh, 30, son of N Mangoljao of Thanga Salam Mayai Leikai; Irom Romio Singh alias Pongba alias Kumar, 41, son of Irom Tomba Singh of Sagolband Tera Sapam Leirak and Pukhrambam Jiten Singh alias Korou, 43, son of (L) P Meipak Singh of Thangmeiband Hijam Dewan Leikai.
Investigation revealed that Loitongbam Dinesh was involved in hurling grenade at Langjing in February last year and in the bomb blast at Omega Clinic at Tourangbam Leikai, the release said.
It also said that Irom Romio Singh alias Pongba alias Kumar was involved in collection of huge amount of money from CPWD and PHED for party fund.
All four of them are working in the Finance department of KYKL, it said and added that a case has been registered at Imphal PS and investigation is going on.
