IMPHAL, March 30: In an aim to promote Meitei Mayek, MEELAL and Editors`™ Guild Manipur had a meeting today at the office of Sangai Express at 4 pm.
MEELAL has decided to withdraw the ban announcement on Manipuri dailies from April 1, demanding publishing of one full page in Meeitei Mayek, following an agreement with EGM at the meeting.
Editors`™ Guild Manipur during the meeting has also decided to organise workshop regarding the issue by consulting with MEELAL and publishers of the local dailies during the month of April.
