IMPHAL, March 31: The XI All Naga Students`™ Association Manipur General Conference on the theme, `Shared Future: Our Collective Responsibility`™ was inaugurated today at TNL ground Ukhrul.
T R Zeliang, Chief Minister of Nagaland was scheduled to attend as the chief guest however, owing to the weather condition his helicopter could not take off.
MLA Samuel Risom on his behalf read his speech and unveiled the monolith.
ST Victor Nunghlung, MLA; Gaidon Kamei, president UNC; Hrisheekesh Modak Arvind, IAS, Deputy Commissioner Ukhrul; Armstrong Pame, IAS; Dr Tuisem Shimrah; Dr Joseph Kuba and L. Adani, former president UNC attended the function as guests of honour, panellist and resource persons.
The general conference was participated by representatives of the 14 units and 2 subordinate bodies of ANSAM.
