IMPHAL, March 31: The Director of University and Higher Education has notified to all concerned students of Manipur that there are reservation of 40 seats for students of the 8 North Eastern States, including Sikkim for admission to UG courses in Indian Maritime University (IMU) Campuses.
According to a release of the Director, candidates who have cleared IMU`™s Common Entrance Test and native of 8 North Eastern States 9Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura) or domiciled in these regions for at least 5 years will be eligible for the reservation, it said.
The last date for online registration is April 22 and the date of the CET is on May 9 from 2 pm till 5 pm. Online application form can be availed from the website: www.imu.edu.in.
