State AAP unit sends invitation to Arvind Kejriwal to visit Manipur

IMPHAL, March 26: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who is also the national convenor of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has been invited to visit Manipur.

A 4-page proposal latter signed by AAP Manipur Unit state co-ordinator/state convenor Thoudam Manihar Singh has also been submitted to the national convenor through AAP`™s northeast in-charge Habung Payengji and national executive member Gurpreet Singh.

Arvind Kejriwal has been invited by AAP Manipur Unit to ventilate the atmosphere of heralding a new era of clean politics of AAP supported by the citizens of Delhi, in the soil of Manipur State also.

He will be presented with a report on the activities of AAP, Manipur Unit when he visits the State.

In the invitation letter, the CM of Delhi has been urged to surely come to the State to also sponsor the candidates of AAP in the District Council Election to be held in the near future, Gram Panchayat Election, Municipal Council Election to be held in the early part of 2016 and Manipur State Assembly Election to be held in early part of 2017.

The proposal submitted mentioned, `to consider for inclusion of History & Geography of the State of Manipur in the school syllabus of local schools in Delhi to prevent from any facial or racial discrimination in the capital city Delhi.`

While saying the existing two Manipur Bhawans are meant only for VVIPs and VIPs from Manipur, AAP Manipur has requested setting up a special guest house of Manipur in Delhi for the common people and to safeguard women in order to make Delhi a place where all communities are secure and live together peacefully.
