UNLF claims hand in attack on bank VP

IMPHAL, March 19: The United National Liberation Front: Manipur has claimed that the bomb blast on March 16 at the residence of Imphal Urban Cooperative Bank`™s Board of Directors (BOD) vice president, Ch. Tombi located at Khurai Puthiba Leikai was executed by the Central Security Force (CSF) of the UNLF.

According to a release of the front, the bomb was planted when the vice-president failed to heed the warning given out by the front regarding some vexing issues of the bank.

The first warning was given to the president of the BOD, Th. Dilipkumar. The UNLF also appealed to the public not to stage any form of protest when the front is meting out discipline to culprits, it said.
