Imphal, March 13: Inspite of eviction order issue by the court forced upon the Kangchup Makhom village, no villagers will desert their hamlet and defend their stance at any cost, stated Kangchup Makhom Village Authority secretary Seitinlien.
The attempt of eviction of the village will be faced boldly and for any untoward incident the soul responsible will be of the government.
The gazette order issued by the government of Manipur permits hill house tax payment has been paid since 1948 till date by each and every household added the village authority secretary.
Further the village is granted UJB School, Aganwadi, Motorable bridge construction across the river at the foothill, Job card extra.
If force eviction is attempted, the entire village will remain steadfast to resist with full determination, said Seitinlien while adding that the village has over 50 household and over 400 populations and is over 60 years old village.
