IMPHAL, March 15: A 30 years old married woman was found hung to death with her scarf round the neck on March 14 at her residence located at Taobungkhok Mayai Leikai under Patsoi Police Station.
The deceased woman was identified as Laishram (O) Ganga Devi aged 30, wife of Leishram Kanta Singh.
In this regard a case was registered by the Patsoi Police Station however the case has been transferred to Imphal West District Women Police Station.
After admitting the case, the decease was taken to the RIMS mortuary for post mortem examination. The body was then received by family members for funeral.
