IMPHAL, April 24: The JAC-All Manipur Hill Districts Contract Basis Teachers Association (AMHDCBTA) is imposing a 24-hour State`“wide 24 hours general strike with effect from 6:00 am ofApril 27 as a series of intensifying agitations.
The bandh has been called against alleged indiference and lukewarm attitude of the State government towards the demand of the association.
A statement issued by spokesperson of the JAC said that in case the govt. Fails to redress the pending demand within 27th April 2015 the aforesaid JAC will be compelled to resume the closing down of all Inter-State Road Transport services on all the National High ways and Trans-Asian Highway.
