IMPHAL, Apr 30: Tension gripped Thoubal Ningombam Keithel in Thoubal district when two unattended black-coloured plastic bags were found lying on the roadside along Thoubal-Mayang Imphal road around 6 pm today. The plastic bags beleived to carry explosives were found by some passerby who immediately informed the police. Shortly, a team of police bomb disposal squad from Imphal arrived and checked the bags and founf that the bag contained no explosives.
Top officials of Thoubal Police also arrived at the area to enquire the incident.
