IMPHAL, April 3: Demanding compensation for year loss of Class X and XII students of Ramkrishna Higher Secondary School, Imphal as they were compelled to miss out the last CBSE examination due to wrongdoings committed by the school authority, a sit-in-protest was staged by parents of the aggrieved students in front of the residential gate of founder of the school, O Jawan at Upokpi in Bishnupur district today.
The incensed parents demanded the school founder to refund the money incurred in form fill up of the students for appearing in the CBSE examination before April 15 without fail.
As the protest demonstration continued till evening, a team of police led by DSP Abdul Kalam, Bishnupur District CDO and Inspector N Ingocha, OC Bishnupur Police Station accompanied by women police rushed to the site and dispersed the protesters.
