IMPHAL, Apr 24: The banned Kangleipak Communist party- Military Council (KCP-MC) has lifted the ban imposed on the Catholic schools temporarily following positive response given by Catholic Educational Society Manipur.
In a statement, the outfit reiterated that the ban on the Catholic schools was imposed for their failure to avail 15 percent reservation for students of weaker, disadvantaged and economically disadvantaged sections in the mission schools which is justified under Right to Equal Education and Right to Compulsory Free Education.
