IMPHAL, April 15: Unidentified persons reportedly set ablaze the tower of UNACCO company at Khongman Zone III under Irilbung Police Station and attacked several establishments of the commercial company with stones on April 13 night.
Reports said the unidentified miscreants first attacked the tower of the company with stone in the late evening.
Later, at around 11.45 pm, they lobbed petrol bomb on the first floor of the tower causing damage to an air conditioner, sofa set, door parda and a Belero jeep parked nearby the area.
The fire was doused by staff and private security personnel of the company using fire extinguisher.
The miscreants also torched woods kept at the premises of the under construction school building of the company at Khongman Lisam Leirak.
On hearing the news of the fire, a team of Fire Service came in and extinguished the fire.
However, no one was injured in the series of attack, the reports added.
