IMPHAL, May 28: With only two days left for campaigning for the 5ht Manipur Hill Areas Autonomous District Council Election in Tamenglong district, hectic campaigning were carried out at the peak by different political parties including independent candidates using their utmost capacity road using loud speakers, street campaign, house to house campaign, rallies/meetings with feasting were taken place in all the 24 ADC segments of Tamenglong district.
Meanwhile, final rounds of rehearsal for the polling personnel were held yesterday at Tamenglong district headquarter indoor stadium. Vehicles with para security personnel started arriving at the district HQ. more requisite of vehicles will be coming from Imphal.
All arrangement were made for the 1st June ADC elections in all the 165 polling stations. Total eligible voters in the district is 83,538.
