IMPHAL, May 25: Troops of the 12 BIHAR of 9 Sector AR has launched an operation in the general area Salam Maning Lekai and apprehended one PREPAK cadre on May 23.
A press release of PRO of IGAR (South) said that the apprehendee was identified as No- 5474 (Batch No 35), Sagolsem Naobi alias Bimal Kumar, 35, son of S Ibohan of Salam Maning Lekai.
In a follow up operation, another PLA cadre namely No- 1385 (Batch No 53), Yumnam Dinamnai alias Tangang Singh, 31, son of (l) Y Ibohal Singh of Salam Maning Lekai was apprehended by the same team on 24 May 2015 from the area of Salam Mamang Lekai. The apprehendees were handed over to the Patsoi Police Station, it said.
