IMPHAL, May 20: A powerful blast destroyed the office roof of NPF candidate from Kamjong district council constituency, Kapudang Ramshang, 49 this evening around 6.
The office is located at the Kamjong headquarter, Ukhrul.
According to sources, the blast was triggered by unidentified persons soon after the candidate had closed down the office for the day.
However, there has been no report of any casualty.
It is also learnt that the candidate has recieved no threat, objection to his candidature or monetary demands from any person or group.
The first time candidate originally belongs to K Langlee Village and is presently residing at Kamjong headquarter.
