IMPHAL, May 24: The body of Sanasam Diyabi Singh son of S Jiten Singh of Wangoo Mamang Sabal Leikai who died in a suspicious manner on May 22 around 10 am at Assam was deposited at the JNIMS mortuary for a second post mortem today.
The body of the student was deposited by a team of the Porompat Police Station this morning around 2am at the JNIMS mortuary.
Diyabi was a Class X student at Grace English School, Ujantarapur, Cachar district, Assam.
It may be mentioned that school authorities had informed the family members that he died due to some injuries and later it was found out that autopsy has been already conducted in Assam.
However, family members and student body DESAM claimed that his death was suspicious and demanded a second post mortem.
However, the second post mortem was not conducted today.
