IMPHAL, May 23: A condolence meeting of Huyen Lallong Manipur Thang-Ta Cultural Association chaired by its former secretary Y Angou Singh held at the premises of the association on May 22 has deeply mourned the sad demise of Thang-Ta Guru and principal of the association Padmashri Gurumayum Gourakishor Sharma who passed away at his residence at Keirao Awang Leikai, Imphal East after a brief illness.
G Gourakishor Sharma was honoured with the Padmashri Award by the then President of India, Pratibha Patil on March 31, 2009.
