IMPHAL, May 23: A sudden hailstorm that swept across the State today around 2 pm damaged several houses and properties in Khurai, Lamlai and Khundrakpam constituencies in Imphal East. The worst hit areas are Kangla Sangomsang, Sawombung, Phaknung, Yourabung, Nongada, Waiton and Sagolmang.
It is said that many electric posts erected in the areas were also damaged.
