LAMKA, May 21: Unknown miscreants have stolen two solar plates from electric posts along the Tiddim Road of Lamka Town near the New Bazar area late last night.
The posts are installed under the DRDA Ccpur.
The missing plates came to light this morning when early riser came out for their morning walk along the road.
Morning walkers who identified themselves as Lunpi and Papau said it seems that the solar plates were taken down last night.
They also expressed concerned that unless the miscreants are brought to task, the other solar plates are also not safe.
They expressed concerned that the other solar plates are also vulnerable withought a mechanism to protect them.
Locals also said that the area is used as a stopover by the firewood transporters.
However, till the filing of this report, no complaints had been filed officially.
