PSC Members in state to monitor developmental works

IMPHAL May 27: Around 30 Parliamentary Standing Committee Members led by its Chairman P Bhattarcharya arrived in the state capital today to monitor the progress of developmental works taken up in the state.

As soon as they arrived at the Tuhilal Airport, they inspected the up-gradation process of the airport and proceeded for a meeting at the Secretariat with officials of NEC and DoNER.

Regarding the pace of developmental works in the state, P Bhattercharya told media persons at the airport that their recommendations will be made after hearing update from the Chief Secretary and discussion with the concerned Ministers based on findings from their inspection.

They are scheduled to inspect several ongoing works in the state tomorrow.
