IMPHAL, May 14: Dissatisfied with the service provider by the Thomson Indane Agency Tamenglong, hundreds of LPG consumers on Thursday convened a meeting at Tamenglong Market Shed organized by Tamenglong LPG Domestic Consumer Welfare Association (TLDCWA).

After the prolong open discussion, the public meeting resolved to adhere with the agreement made between the Thomson Indane Agency, Tamenglong LPG Domestic Consumer Welfare Association and All Manipur Domestic LPG Consumer Welfare Association at IOC office, at any cost.

The meeting resolved to put on halt its case/FIR to be filed against the Thomson Indane Agency, taking into consideration the agency`™s request till May 20. As per the agreement the agency agreed to finish all pending files works and procedure within May 2015.

In case of any disagreement by Thomson Indane Agency, the meeting also resolved to move for new agency for Tamenglong.

Further the meeting also resolved that the Thomson Indane Agency must supply and distribute LPG smoothly and should not be kept pending.

It may recalled that recently, LPG consumers of Tamenglong district stormed and burnt the file of Thomson Indane Agency following its stance to withdraw from the agreement signed earlier this year.
