BISHNUPUR, May 10: A reception function for Vice-Chancellor of Central Agricultural University (CAU) Iroishemba, Dr M Premjit who is the first ever to hold the position from the north east was held at INA Hall, Moirang in Bishnupur district today.
The function was attended by Commerce & Industries and veterinary& Animal Husbandry Minister Govindas Konthoujam as cief guest; Parliamentary Secretary (YAS & Tourism) M Prithviraj as president; ex-MLA S Gopal and Chairperson of Moirang Muncipal Council as guests of honour.
Presentation of garlands and appreciation of words to the Vice-Chancelor were the main highlights of the function.
