Allegations against principal of Pettigrew College refuted

IMPHAL, July 4: Dismissing the allegations levelled by Students`™ Union of Pettigrew College, Ukhrul against its principal Dr Ninghorla Zimik through the media, vice-principal of the college Assistant Professor KAS Soreishang who is also the HOD Botany clarified that the allegations against the principal who is now in abroad for internal conference were made without ascertaining facts whatsoever.

He claimed that the students`™ union suddenly and secretly convened a meeting during vacation and without any consultation and discussion with the advisor of the union.

Even if there is any allegation to be made, enough time can be given for clarification and verification which can be involved by the authority concerned for the interest of the students and College to solve the problem, the vice-principal said.

Stating that the intention clearly testifies the preconceived conspiracy and deliberate attempt to assassinate one`s character which will not produce a better result, he appealed to the students`™ union to have a constructive solution in any developmental activities of the college.
