IMPHAL, Jul 20: The two-day meeting of Congress Legislature Party, which began yesterday, has unanimously adopted certain resolutions regarding the demands made by JCILPS and JAC Against the Brutal Killing of Sapam Robinhood, Lairikyengbam Leikai.
The meeting resolved to constitute a judicial inquiry by the government into the death of Sapam Robinhood who was killed in police action during a protest staged on July 8 demanding ILPS implementation in the state and fully support the resolution adopted during a meeting of representatives of All Political Parties held at the CM`™s office on July 16 that earnest efforts shall put in to enact a new bill acceptable to the people within one month.
It also resolved to put up the resolutions in the Cabinet meeting and issue formal government order each for the resolutions.
