IMPHAL, Jul 22: As a part of observing the World Population Day and Stabilisation forthnightly, a family planning camp (Female sterilization & non-sterile Vasectomy camp) was held today at Noney Primary Health Centre under Nungba sub-division of Tamenglong district.
The prgramme was organised by the District Health Mission Society, Tamenglong and attended by Dr Sujeta Devi, State Nodal officer (Family Planning) Family Welfare Services; Dr Chambo Gonmei, CMO/ Tamenglong; Dr Namju Panmei, district immunization officer, Tamenglong four doctors from RIMS and JNIMS and other para-medical staff.
14 women of Noney areas were operated during the camp. The doctors were assisted by ASHAs and medical staff of Noney PHC.
A special interaction programme was also held by Dr Sujeta.
