THOUBAL, July 6: In an act of vandalism, items of a computer store were destroyed by a father and son and went on to stab the owner with a knife also.
The incident occurred this morning around 9 at LS Computer Store located opposite to the Khangabok High School under Thoubal Police Station.
The store owner is identified as Laishram Sunder Singh, 20 son of Rachandra Singh of Khangabok Pt III, Makha Leikai.
The attackers are identified as Ningthoujam Shyamkeshore Singh, 57 and his son, Ratan Singh, 24 of Khanagabok part-3 Khunou Leikai.
Sunder was injured on his left hand and was rushed to Thoubal District Hospital. He was later discharged after his condition was said to be non-critical.
Meanwhile, the people concerned have submitted a memorandum to the Thoubal Police to arrest the culprits and to mete out punishment.
