IMPHAL, July 17: A havildar of 1st BN Manipur Rifles posted at the Regional Passport Seva Kendra, Old Assembly Complex was found dead under suspicious manner near the kitchen of his security post yesterday around 7.30 pm.
The deceased has been identified as Moirangthem Deven Singh, 46 son of Late M Ador Singh of Haraorou Mamang Leikai. His havildar no is 14560.
Cause of the death could not be ascertained till the time of filing this report.
A case has been registered at City Police Station in connection with the incident. Post mortem of the body was performed at RIMS morgue.
