IMPHAL, Jul 8: The Home Minister said that 64 vacant posts of Police Inspectors (Male/Civil) will be promoted from the Sub-Inspector of Police (Male/Civil) in the Manipur Police Department.
He said the Government Of Manipur has already recommended the matter to the Manipur Public Service Commission.
He explain that the MPSC had postponed the DPC as per the decision taken by the Government to first settle the case of promotion from inspector to MPS-II(DSP) so that the additional fresh vacancies can also be included in the DPC.
