State bags Award for Infant Survival

IMPHAL, Jul 3: The Health Directorate has informed that Manipur State recieved the 1st prize Award for Infant Survival.

The award was handed over to Manipur team during the National Summit on Good and Replicable Practices & Innovations in Public Healthcare Systems, India at the Peterhof, Shimla, on July 2 by Union Health Minister JP Nadda in presence of Health Minister of Himachal Pradesh and several top official of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

The summit to be continued till July 4 is being organized by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and Department of Health & Family Welfare, Himachal Pradesh

It is being held with the objective of systematically identifying innovations, which can have a high impact to address morbidity and mortality and facilitate the states prompt scale up through a platform.
