IMPHAL, Jul 2: The use of mobile phones by plain clothes police personnel deployed at the `Press Gallery`™ of the Assembly for the ongoing 11th Session of 10th Manipur Legislative Assembly has disturbed media personnel both of print and electronic media, who have come to cover the Assembly session.
The plain clothes police personnel set ringtone and SMS alert tone of their mobile handsets in high volume, thereby causing disturbance to the media persons who have to listen proceedings of the session carefully.
It may be noted here that media persons covering the ongoing Assembly session are not allowed to accompany mobile phone inside the gallery.
