IMPHAL, Aug 3: BJP Kishan Morcha Manipur Pradesh has deeply condoled the death of 20 Joumol villagers who were buried alive in the aftermath of landslide, and the death of 1 person each in Thoubal and Churachandpur in the razing flood.
In a press release, the BJP Manipur Pradesh said that ex-gratia for the landslide victim`™s families should be given without delay. It further added that relief materials for the flood affected people should be sufficiently provided.
The statement further said that the Manipur government must compensate the loss of crop, house, cattle and fish farm. A long lasting policy must be taken up by the government so that we can deal with such calamities in future, the press release added.
