IMPHAL, August 3: Two MLAs of the ruling Congress, Heingang MLA Nongthombam Biren Singh and Sugunu MLA Kangujam Ranjit have condemned the State police for using brutal and inhuman force against the student protestors.
The Heingang MLA informed the IFP that a State police Inspector was seen acting violently against the students among which were many girls during today`™s incident.
We condemned the action of the police including the Inspector and the State Home minister should take action against the said inspector at the earliest, the MLA from the ruling party said.
