IMPHAL, Aug 31: Samom Nanao Singh, 17 of Uripok Huidrom Leikai in Imphal West, who was shifted to a hospital in Guwahati due to severe injuries he suffered on his right eye while taking part in a protest demanding implementation of Inner Line Permit System in the State, will be brought back home tomorrow.
S Nanao son of Late S Inaocha Singh was shifted to Srimanta Sankardev Netralaya Hospital, Beltola from Regional Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) on August 12 last. He sustained injuries on his right eye in police action during a protest demonstration staged on August 5 evening in his locality.
Nanao will be reaching home tomorrow as he has shown considerable improvement in the treatment. However, a major operation is due to perform upon him.
