IMPHAL, Aug 3: A new organization christened as Railway Affected Land Owners`™ Welfare Committee (RALOWCO) has been formed by land owners`™ whose lands have been affected by the construction of Jiribam-Tupul-Imphal railway track and Imphal Railway Station.
The organization was formed during a meeting of the affected land owners held at Ahallup Bamdiar.
The meeting also unanimously elected office bearers of the committee with Konthoujam Kumar Singh as president; Dr Khuraijam Rojitchandra as vice-president; Laishram Ratan Khuman as secretary general; Konthoujam Brojendro Meitei as secretary finance and Oinam Purnima Devi as secretary information & public relations.
