IMPHAL August 2015: Shija Hospital and Research Institutes, Langol has added a new Paediatrics and Neonatology Department in order to provide more wholistic health care to the people.
The Paediatrics and Neonatology Department was inaugurated today with Dr R K Nimai and Prof P Ibomcha Singh as the chief guest and the guest of honour with Dr Kh Palin as the president of the occasion.
Facilities such as OPD from 7 in the morning to 7 in the evening and 24*7 Paediatrics and Neonatology emergency services of three full time consultant Paediatricians are added.
The department hopes to offer both physical care and emotional support from birth to eighteen years of age by well experienced Paediatric and Neonatal specialists, informed the management.
Dr R K Nimai while congratulating and appalling the expansion said, this 24*7 service will definitely increase the public confidence. Manipur has truly advanced in medical science as skilled practitioners and perhaps we should nurture the creativity a little further.
We have upgraded and installed our equipments and facilities to provide quality services from routine child check-ups to the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases, said Dr Kh Palin while detailing its potential to advance in medical tourism.
