IMPHAL, Aug 26: Sougaijam Leirak Women Welfare provided some financial aid to the Meitei Council Moreh today during a simple function at Manipur Press Club.
Speaking to the media persons at the press meet treasurer SLWW Moirangthem (o) Lalini Devi said that the tragic incident at Moreh town is unfortunate and a result of a few misunderstanding.
She further said that to help the injured person as well as the people who had lost their property a small financial help of just Rs 7000 has been provided to the MCM.
In the press meet MCM general secretary said various NGO`™s, government departments and individuals have provided financial support to the Moreh people.
He added that the government of Manipur should take initiatives so that such incidents do not reoccur in the future.

Continuing he said that another various supporter are also giving financial supports at Moreh interacting to the victims of the incident.
